Seat occupied recognition  
9.1  
Removing and installing front seat oc‐  
cupied sensor [G1067]/[G128]  
The seat occupied sensor on driver side - G1067- and seat  
occupied sensor on front passenger side - G128- will henceforth  
be referred to as “seat occupied sensor”.  
Removing  
– Move front seat to rearmost and highest position.  
– Disconnect electrical connector -2-.  
– Unclip mounting -1- -arrows-.  
– Detach seat occupied sensor -3-. To do this, push padding  
upwards slightly.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:  
– Connect electrical connector until it engages audibly.

The battery in the control unit for wireless connection of seat  
occupied sensors will henceforth be referred to as “battery”.  
The control unit for wireless connection of seat occupied sen‐  
sors will henceforth be referred to as “control unit”.  
Removing  
– Remove control unit for wireless connection of seat occupied  
sensors ⇒ Rep. gr. 69 ; Removing and installing control unit  
for wireless connection of seat occupied sensors .

– Pull control unit -2- off housing -1-.

Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal.

occupied sensor [G1116], [G1117],  
[G1118], [G1119], [G1120]  
The rear left seat occupied sensor, seat row 2 - G1116- , rear  
right seat occupied sensor, seat row 2 - G1117- , rear centre  
seat occupied sensor, seat row 2 - G1118- , rear left seat occu‐  
pied sensor, seat row 3 - G1119- and rear right seat occupied  
sensor, seat row 3 - G1120- will henceforth be referred to as  
“seat occupied sensor”.  
Removal and installation are described for one seat occupied  
sensor as an example.
