Removing
– Remove dash panel trims ⇒ Rep. gr. 70 ; Removing and
installing dash panel trim .
– Lever off dash panel insert trim -1- using removal wedge
from removal wedge set - VAS 895 015- .
– Unclip dash panel insert trim -1- from upper steering column
trim, and remove it.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.

Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ removal wedge set - VAS 895 015-
Removing
– Remove lower centre dash panel trim ⇒ Rep. gr. 70 ; Re‐
moving and installing centre dash panel trim .
– Use removal wedge from removal wedge set - VAS 895 015-
to lever off centre vent -1- far enough to gain access to
electrical connector.
– Disconnect electrical connector.
– Remove centre vent -1-.
