– Unclip upper B-pillar trim -1- at side using wedge - T10383- ,
and remove it.

CAUTION
It is possible to trigger pyrotechnic components unintentional‐
ly.
Risk of injury
– Discharge static electricity by briefly touching door striker
plate.
NOTICE
Risk of irreparable damage due to electrostatic discharge.
– Do not touch connector contacts with your hands.
– Touch the lifting platform or other earthed object to dis‐
charge static electricity.
– Disconnect electrical connector -2-, releasing securing clip
with a small commercially available screwdriver when doing
so.
– Unscrew bolts -3-.
– Guide seat belt with lap belt tensioner -- out of upper B-pillar
trim.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– Remove any retaining clips left in body using removal tool -
T40280- , and insert retaining clips into upper B-pillar trim.
– Make sure that belt height adjuster functions correctly.
– Bring sealing lip of door seal into installation position.
