General information about blowing

through with compressed air or nitrogen

In order to remove moisture and other contaminants as well as

old refrigerant oil from the refrigerant circuit as cleanly as possi‐

ble, without wasting the refrigerant and in an uncomplicated and

environmentally compatible way, the refrigerant circuit must be

cleaned with refrigerant R1234yf (flushed with R1234yf refriger‐

ant) ⇒ “1.6 Cleaning refrigerant circuit”, page 92 .

Blowing through the refrigerant circuit with compressed air and

nitrogen is a method to be applied e.g. only if individual compo‐

nents are to be cleaned.
